Sticks and Stones is the 32nd overall episode of The Big Comfy Couch.

Overview[]

During a game of Pick Up Sticks, Loonette calls Molly a clumsy clown because she doesn't do well at this game. In fact, Molly doesn't even want to go outside to play with Loonette, who's having fun making up silly nicknames. When Major Bedhead comes, he and Loonette enjoy giving everything a nickname until Loonette calls him "Major Clumsy", which hurts his feelings. Loonette doesn't quite understand why some people don't like nicknames until Auntie Macassar explains through a song how nicknames can be hurtful. When Loonette realizes that she hurt Molly's feelings when she called her clumsy, she tries her best to make things right.
